The Peacock Inn Restaurant opened on May 17, 2010 under the helm of Executive Chef Manuel Perez. The restaurant has been designed to provide an elegant and exceptional dining experience enhanced by attentive service, sophisticated décor, and a contemporary approach to cuisine. Chef Perez trained for three years at the celebrated Le Bernardin in New York under celebrity chef Eric Ripert, and later refined his skills at New York’s Water Club. He was most recently Chef de Cuisine at the highly regarded Restaurant Nicholas in Red Bank, New Jersey.
Chef Perez has garnered rave reviews for his “New American” cuisine menu and received 4 stars “Excellent” from Cody Kendall of The Star Ledger as well as listing among the “Best New Restaurants” by New Jersey Monthly Magazine. Chef Perez and his staff pride themselves on using only the highest quality and freshest ingredients, many acquired from the area’s local farmers and food purveyors.
The intimate dining rooms blend elegance, comfort, and romance. The walls showcase prized artwork, murals, and menus from the 1930’s, some of which were discovered behind cement walls in the basement of this historic building. One such mural depicts John Von Neumann, the famed Princeton mathematician driving a car while reading a book.
Personalized service is a top priority throughout our Inn and dining is no exception. A premier restaurant can transform a good meal into a great one, and here at The Peacock Inn we are proud and excited to provide excellent dining services to all our guests that seek comfort and luxury in Princeton hotels.
