Aaron Burr, Jr. would return here after gunning down Alexander Hamilton. George Washington fought decisive wars here.  And it should be noted that Princeton is home to more Nobel Prize winners than any other two square miles on earth.  The TV series House is located in Princeton with the Frist Campus Center of Princeton University being used as the fictional Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital.  Other notable movies filmed in and around Princeton include I.Q., Transformers 2, and The Happening.

In 2005, Princeton was named #15 of the top 100 towns in the United States to Live and Work In by Money Magazine.  There is much for visitors to see and do here including strolling the grounds of the University, shopping along Palmer Square and Nassau Street, visiting the Princeton Battlefield, walking or biking along the towpath, watching teams row along Carnegie Lake, enjoying theatrical and musical performances at McCarter Theater, visiting the Morven Museum and Garden, or live music from many area entertainment venues.

One of Princeton’s most notable attractions is the Princeton University Art Museum, one of the finest art museums in the country. Its collection features more than 68,000 works ranging from ancient to contemporary art, and concentrating geographically on the Mediterranean regions, Western Europe, China, the United States, and Latin America, with particular strengths in Chinese painting and calligraphy, art of the ancient Americas, and pictorial photography.

Another popular spot is Grounds For Sculpture, about 15 minutes away in Hamilton, New Jersey. Grounds For Sculpture is a 35-acre public sculpture park featuring paved terraces, pergolas, and courtyards juxtaposed with natural woodlands, ponds and groves of bamboo. The Grounds boasts more than 100 species and cultivars and over 2,000 trees, with many rare and unusual finds.
